Located on the westside of San Antonio, the CommuniCare Health Clinic is a full-service primary healthcare system serving patients around San Antonio and nearby cities. Through the partnership with UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry, this clinic offers the highest quality vision care including Adult Care Services in a practice management modality that closely relates to a private practice clinical experience.
Third-year interns provide primary eye and vision services to all patients regardless of age. Our clinic engages a large volume of complicated, high medical acuity patients providing the interns with a vast array of clinical presentations. The clinic incorporates basic contact lens services, optical service, and the diagnosis, treatment and management of acute ocular disease.
