Dr. Lily Arendt is an Assistant Professor at the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. She is a graduate of DePaul University in Chicago, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree, and obtained her Doctor of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry. Upon graduation, she completed a residency in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery at Parkhurst Nuvision in San Antonio, where she practiced for four years as an associate optometrist. She obtained her fellowship within the American Academy of Optometry and is currently pursuing a Diplomate in the Cornea, Contact Lens and Refractive Technologies section of the Academy. Dr. Arendt is an active member of the Texas Optometric Association and is the Faculty Advisor for the student chapter of TOA at UIW RSO. Dr. Arendt is passionate about practicing full-scope, medical optometry and sharing this passion with her students in the classroom and clinic, as well as optometrists in the community through continuing education courses.
