Srihari Narayanan is an experienced Optometric Practitioner, Educator and Researcher. He is currently Professor and Director of Cornea and Dry Eye Service at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO). His responsibilities at UIWRSO include didactic teaching in a variety of courses such as Clinical Optometry (Clinical Skills), Anterior Segment Disease and problem-based learning courses. He is also a clinical preceptor at UIWRSO. His research interests include tear film and dry eye disease as well as anterior uveitis. He has several scientific publications to his credit and presents research in national and international meetings. Professor Narayanan serves on various college-level and national-level committees with leadership roles. Dr. Narayanan obtained an MS, OD and PhD all at the University of Houston, College of Optometry, Houston, Texas. Dr Narayanan has been involved in educating Optometrists in several European and Asian countries. He provides COPE-approved CE lectures for licensed Optometrists in the USA. Prior to moving to the United States, Dr. Narayanan practiced Optometry in India and Bahrain.
