Charlotte I. Spada, OD

Dr. Charlotte Spada is a Senior Clinical Instructor at the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with a minor in French from The College of Wooster in Ohio before completing a post-baccalaureate certificate at Brandeis University in Massachusetts, where she pursued advanced coursework in chemistry, biology and physics. She then received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston, followed by a residency in Low Vision Rehabilitation and Ocular Disease at RSO.

At RSO, Dr. Spada serves as the Residency Coordinator for the Low Vision Residency and Chief of the Low Vision Service. She is also pursuing a Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry. Her clinical interests include the intersection of pediatrics and low vision, the care of individuals with multiple impairments and Cortical/Cerebral Visual Impairment (CVI).
