Vontavia Davis

Dr. Vontavia Davis is a Senior Clinical Instructor at the UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry. She grew up in Houston, TX and completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science and a minor in Public Health. Dr. Davis obtained her optometry degree from the UAB School of Optometry in 2025. Her time in school led her to discover her love for pediatric eye care and vision therapy.

Dr. Davis continued her education at UIWRSO where she completed a residency in Pediatrics, Vision Therapy and Vision Rehabilitation. Residency exposed her to academia and her passion for educating the next generation of optometrists. She is a member of the American Academy of Optometry and the American Optometric Association. Dr. Davis strives to lead students to be confident and competent clinicians while delivering compassionate patient care.
