William Miller

Dr. William L. Miller is a Professor and Associate Dean of Academic Affairs at the Rosenberg School of Optometry, University of the Incarnate Word University. He received his O.D., a combined M.S./Fellowship in Cornea and Contact Lens and PhD in Physiological Optics at The Ohio State University. Dr. Miller is a diplomate in the American Board of Optometry. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a distinguished fellow of the National Academies of Practice. Additionally, he is a member of the American Academy of Optometry, American Optometric Association, and European Academy of Optometry and Optics. He is on the editorial board of the Eye and Contact Lenses journal and is serving as the Associate Editor of the Optometric Clinical Practice Journal, which was started at the Rosenberg School of Optometry. Dr. Miller has multiple publications in contact lens, cornea, and dry eye. He has consulted with industry partners, especially related to contact lens material and designs. Dr. Miller has received numerous teaching awards at three different optometric institutions.  He is involved in both the didactic and clinical education at the Rosenberg School of Optometry.
